Congratulations to Jayc Harold from Winnipeg, Manitoba for receiving the Coventant award for Gospel Country/Bluegrass album of the year (2008).

March, 2009

We recorded Edith Fehr's 4th project, we always have  a great time with Edith and her Husband George. They came down from Edmonton on  Sunday the 22nd and Monday and Tuesday we tracked all the music for 11 songs with the "Heartline Band"  Phil Robertson:drums, Dennis Marcenko:bass, Jim Woodyard:acoustic, gut string guitars and mandolin, Jay Buettner:electric guitars, Mike Sanyshyn:Fiddle and mandolin, Mike Norman: piano, organ, pads, strings etc.
The rest of the week Edith did all the lead vocals. Gord Maxwell and Kelly Brock came in for a day and did all the background vocals. They did an awesome job as always. The album was masterd by Dwayne Harder and released in June, 2009

July 2009

Recorded a new project for Jack Jackson from Calgary, Alberta. First 2 days we cut all the tracks for 10 songs with some of the best players around, Chris Meister:Drums, Gord Maxwell:Bass, Jim Woodyard: Acoustic guitars and mandolin, Jay Buettner: Electric guitars, Simon Kendall:Piano, organ and Stomach Steinway.
The next 4 days were spent doing  lead vocals with Jack, bgs with Josh Duguid and Gord maxwell and fiddle overdubs with Armand Pelletier

Aug, 2009

We mixed Jack Jackson's album the first week in Aug. The project was mastered by Dwayne Harder in Abbotsford. The CD was released 1st week in Sept, 2009

 

Landon Lucas from Abbotsford recorded a 4 song demo with his friend Paul.
Paul and Landon played acoustic guitars and all vocals by Landon. Great job guys.

Had  Jay Semko (of "The Northern Pikes")  from Saskatchewan  for 2 days cutting the bed tracks for 8 songs for his new album produced by Jay Buettner. Players were, Jerry Adolph:drums, John Dymond: bass, Tom Mckillip: acoustic guitar, Jay Buettner: electric guitar, John Ellis: electric guitar, steel, dobro, mandolin.

Nov, 2009

Spent 3 days cutting vocals with Jay Semko and one day  electric guitar odubs with Jay Buettner and fiddle with Mike Sanyshyn.

Tracked 8 songs and mixed 10 songs for Valley Voices, and organization that promotes and develops new artists in the Fraser Valley. These were all contest winners from this year. All songs were vocal and acoustic guitar

Dec. 2009

Jay Semko was back for 4 days doing vocals. Also tracked Bgs for his project with Gord Maxwell and Kelly Brock

Tracked a harmonica gospel instrumental project for Jake Gerbrandt from High Level, Alberta. Jim Woodyard played all the backing tracks including, piano, organ, acoustic guitars, mandolin, banjo and gut string guitars. Soren Lonnqvist played bass on a handful of songs. Also mixed this project scheduled for mastering at end of Dec.

Jan. 2010

Jay Semko was back  for 4 days tracking more vocals, bgs and guitar overdubs

Landon Lucas from Abbotsford was back recording some original songs, acoustic guitar and vocals.

Cities Under Fire, a Christian rock band from Saskatchewan spent one week  tracking drums and guitars for their new album with Kelvin Funkner producing.
